NEW YORK, December 13, 2016 -The Motor City comes alive in Comedy Central's new series "Detroiters," premiering Tuesday, February 7 at 10:30 p.m. ET/PT following the season nine premiere of "Tosh.0."

Sam Richardson, from Detroit, and Tim Robinson, from Metro Detroit, are real life best friends who star as small-time ad men in the Motor City. Whatever they do, they do it together. And no matter what happens, Tim and Sam's love for each other and their city never wavers. Jason Sudeikis, who is an executive producer, also appears in a narrative arc as a successful Chrysler brand executive whom Richardson and Robinson relentlessly pursue in an effort to land their first big-time client. Guest stars across the first season include Obba Babatunde, Michael Che, Comedian CP, Steve Higgins, Richard Karn, Keegan-Michael Key, Kevin Nash, Wendy Raquel Robinson, Cecily Strong, Trick Trick, George Wallace and Malcolm-Jamal Warner.

In the premiere episode, Sam and Tim try to secure a big ad campaign with the Chrysler brand, resulting in a disaster. They also allow their young assistant Lea to finish a hot-tub commercial on her own, which ends in a surprising success for the client.

Season one episodes of "Detroiters" will also be available via cc.com on the day each new episode premieres to fans who authenticate via their cable or satellite provider, as well as via the Comedy Central App. In addition, they be available the day after air on iTunes, Amazon Video, VUDU, Microsoft Movies & TV, Verizon Multi-Screen, Google Play, Frontier Communications, and Sony Interactive Entertainment.

A Second City Chicago alum, Richardson is best known as "Richard Splett" on HBO's hit series "Veep." Richardson will appear in the upcoming features "Office Christmas Party" and "The House." He has appeared in Comedy Central's "Drunk History," NBC's "The Office," and "Arrested Development" and in the feature films "Neighbors 2," "Mike and Dave Need Wedding Dates," "Ghostbusters," "Horrible Bosses 2," "Spy" and "We're the Millers."

Robinson started at The Second City Detroit before ultimately joining the Main Stage at Second City in Chicago. He was a writer for "Saturday Night Live" and has had guest appearances on IFC's "Documentary Now!" and "Comedy Bang Bang." Robinson recently created and starred in an episode of "The Characters" for Netflix.

The ten-episode weekly scripted series is executive produced, created and written by Sam Richardson, Tim Robinson, Joe Kelly and Zach Kanin and executive produced by Lorne Michaels, Broadway Video and Jason Sudeikis.
