WHAT WOULD DIPLO DO? (Viceland, New!) - James Van Der Beek is set to topline a new scripted entry at the cable channel about "a fictional version of DJ superstar Diplo in a collection of parables about life as told through the eyes of guy who can bring 60,000 people to their feet... but kind of sucks one-on-one." He'll play said Grammy-winning musician as well as serve as showrunner with Brandon Dermer attached to direct. Diplo and his long-time manager Kevin Kusatsu will also executive produce alongside the duo. The six-episode comedy series is slated to roll out later this year. TMWRK and Matador are the producers.
