(Deadline.com)
ONCE UPON A TIME (ABC) - JoAnna Garcia Swisher will reprise her role as Ariel on an upcoming episode this season. Her character "was last seen helping Ursula (Merrin Dungey) get her happy ending by reuniting the sea witch with her father, Poseidon (Ernie Hudson), in season 4." (EW.com)
UNTITLED ALAN BALL PROJECT (HBO) - Sosie Bacon, Daniel Zovatto, Raymond Lee and Jerrika Hinton have all been cast in the Holly Hunter-led drama project: in which "philosophy professor Greg Bishop (not yet cast) and his lawyer wife Audrey Black (Hunter) are socially conscious idealists who decided to build a family by adopting children from Vietnam, Somalia and Colombia (Hinton, Zovatto, Lee) before having their own child in their 40s (Bacon). Then, one of the children begins to see things others cannot. Is it mental illness? Or something else?" Lee will play Duc, "a successful life coach, adopted from Vietnam when he was five"; with Hinton as Ashley, "creator and owner of a retail fashion website, wife and mother of a 4-year-old who was born in America to Somalian refugees, adopted when her mother died and her father was deported"; Zovatto as Ramon, "who was adopted from an orphanage in Colombia at 18 months and now is in his final year of college, studying video game design"; and Bacon plays Kristen, "the only biological child of her parents."
