On the heels of his critically-acclaimed titular performance as O.J. Simpson in "The People v. O.J. Simpson: American Crime Story," the Academy Award-winning actor sits down with host Lipton to delve into his boisterous Hollywood career. From his start as a young break-dancer in Los Angeles to his breakout role as Rod Tidwell in Jerry Maguire, Gooding animatedly takes the audience on his rollercoaster ride to becoming a successful star. Viewers will experience his charm firsthand as he discusses his most personal experiences working with fellow thespians such as Jack Nicholson, Robin Williams, Robert DeNiro, Sarah Paulson and more. Best known for his Oscar winning portrayal of pro-football player Rod Tidwell in Jerry Maguire, Cuba Gooding, Jr. has also received critical acclaim for other roles in films including Boyz in the Hood, As Good as It Gets, and A Few Good Men. In 1997, Gooding was honored with the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Supporting Role for his performance in Jerry Maguire, in addition to the Screen Actors Guild Award, the Broadcasters Film Critics Award and the Critics' Choice Award. His resume also includes major roles in motion pictures such as Men of Honor, Pearl Harbor, Radio, American Gangster, and Lee Daniel's The Butler, in which he received a Screen Actors Guild nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast. Gooding also made his Broadway debut in the Tony-nominated hit revival "The Trip to Bountiful," with reviews calling his performance "triumphant", "moving" and "exquisitely right." was most recently seen on "American Horror Story: Roanoke" and in "The People v.
