SAG Awards Closes the Extraordinary List of Presenters at the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(R)

The 23rd Annual SAG Awards(R) will air live on TNT and TBS, Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017

LOS ANGELES (January 29, 2017) - Two-time SAG Award honoree John Krasinski is the latest in a long list of noteworthy actors that includes Casey Affleck, Riz Ahmed, Mahershala Ali, Millie Bobby Brown, Sophia Bush, Gabrielle Carteris, Common, Viola Davis, Michelle Dockery, Kathryn Hahn, Naomie Harris, Salma Hayek, Lucas Hedges, Taraji P. Henson, Jonah Hill, Kate Hudson, Rashida Jones, Nicole Kidman, Ashton Kutcher, Brie Larson, John Legend, Gaten Matarazzo, James Marsden, Caleb McLaughlin, Janelle Mon�e, Viggo Mortensen, Gina Rodriguez Alia Shawkat, Octavia Spencer, Denzel Washington, Finn Wolfhard and Steven Yeun will be presenters at the 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(R), Executive Producer Kathy Connell announced today.

This highly esteemed group of peers will honor their colleagues at the SAG Awards(R) Ceremony. This assemblage already includes Life Achievement Award presenters Jane Fonda and Dolly Parton. The 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(R) will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017 at 8 p.m. (ET)/5 p.m. (PT).

John Krasinski has received two Actors(R) for The Office, recognizing him as part of an Outstanding Ensemble (2008, 2007). His performance in that comedy series earned him five additional nominations in that category (2013, 2012, 2011, 2010, 2009).

The SAG Awards also would like to make a correction in the announcement of Salma Hayek as a presenter. She should have been identified as follows:

Salma Hayek received a nomination recognizing her Outstanding Performance in the title role of Frida (2002), the biographical movie for which Hayek also received an Imagen Award. Her latest movie, How to Be a Latin Lover, is scheduled for release on April 28.

The 23rd Annual Screen Actors Guild Awards(R) presented by SAG-AFTRA with Screen Actors Guild Awards, LLC will be produced by Avalon Harbor Entertainment, Inc. and will be simulcast live on TNT and TBS on Sunday, Jan. 29, 2017 at 8 p.m. (ET) / 5 p.m. (PT). TBS and TNT subscribers can also watch the SAG Awards live through the networks' websites and mobile apps. In addition, TNT will present a primetime encore of the ceremony immediately following the live presentation. The telecast is available internationally, including to U.S. military installations through the American Forces Network.

Prior to the televised ceremony, honorees for outstanding television and film stunt ensemble action performances will be announced from the red carpet during the People, EW & TNT's SAG Awards(R) Red Carpet Live pre-show which will stream simultaneously on sagawards.tntdrama.com, sagawards.org, the People/Entertainment Weekly Network (People.com/PEN), EW.com, InStyle.com, Essence.com, and Time.com beginning at 5:30 p.m. (ET) / 2:30 p.m. (PT).

One of the awards season's premier events, the SAG Awards(R) annually celebrates the outstanding motion pictures and television performances from the previous calendar year. Of the top industry honors presented to actors, only the SAG Awards are selected entirely performers' peers in SAG-AFTRA, which this year number 121,546. The SAG Awards was the first televised awards show to acknowledge the work of union members and the first to present awards to motion picture casts and television ensembles.
