KANYE WEST, ADELE, BRUNO MARS AND MORE TO BE FEATURED IN OVATION TV'S WEEK-LONG TRIBUTE TO THE GRAMMYS' HOTTEST ARTISTS

Kicking Off February 6, Ovation Offers Up Docs on Grammy Winners Past and Present

Los Angeles, CA - February 1, 2017 Music lovers will want to set their DVRs for some binge-worthy music documentaries airing on Ovation TV beginning February 6. America's only arts network will pay tribute to the GRAMMY(R) Awards by featuring some of the recording industry's biggest winners, including Kanye West, Adele, Bruno Mars, Whitney Houston and Justin Timberlake. Here are the highlights for the week:

Whitney Houston: The Greatest Love of All (1 hr) - Monday, February 6 at 12:00pm ET / 9:00am PT - From an early age, Grammy(R) Hall of Famer Whitney Elizabeth Houston showed the vocal range and star quality that would soon make her a legend in the music world. Winner of six Grammy awards, Houston was nominated a total of twenty-six times. This special features those who knew her as "Nippy," retraces her steps to stardom and revisits some of her most stunning performances.

Justin Timberlake: Dressed to Thrill (1 hr) - Tuesday, February 7 at 12:00pm ET / 9:00am PT - From humble beginnings in Shelby Forest singing in his father's church choir, to his first appearance as a Star Search contestant singing country at the age of 11, Justin Timberlake was destined for a life of fame. He joined the Mickey Mouse Club alongside Britney Spears, Christina Aguilera and Ryan Gosling and later formed the phenomenally successful boy band 'N Sync with colleague JC Chasez. With 38 Grammy nominations and nine wins, Timberlake is currently tied with Sting as the 10th most Grammy-nominated act in history.

Bruno Mars: Just the Way I Am (1 hr) - Wednesday, February 8 at 12:00pm ET / 9:00am PT - Bruno Mars has soared to fame from struggling songwriter to international superstar. Having performed at the 2014 Super Bowl halftime show alongside the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mars has cemented his status as a global icon. Mars began his journey at a young age, performing at various musical venues in his hometown of Honolulu, Hawaii. Mars has four Grammy Awards from 20 nominations. He is nominated this year for Album of the Year as a producer on Adele's 25.

Kurt & Courtney (2 hr) - Thursday, February 9 at 12:00pm ET / 9:00am PT - Beginning as an observation of the music of Grammy winner Kurt Cobain and his Seattle/Portland contemporaries, Kurt & Courtney takes a different turn when Courtney Love intervenes. What emerges is a powerful examination of the destructive power of corporate America, economic depression and freedom of speech. Love is also a Grammy nominee, receiving a nomination for Best Rock Song in 1999, five years after Cobain's death.

Amy Winehouse: A Final Goodbye (1 hr) - Friday, February 10 at 12:00pm ET / 9:00 am PT - A Final Goodbye is an intimate look into the life and times of Grammy winner Amy Winehouse from her rise to pop superstardom to the inner demons that inspired her work and eventually caused her untimely death. Over her short career, Winehouse received six Grammy awards from eight nominations, the last of which was received posthumously.

Kanye West: Outspoken (1 hr) - Saturday, February 11 at 12:00pm ET / 9:00am PT - Kanye West is ranked 8th in the Grammy Award records for most wins and 6th for most won by a male artist. He is also the 5th most-nominated artist. Starting off as a college drop-out music producer for Roc-A-Fella records, he then went on to produce for numerous iconic artists such as Jay Z, Alicia Keys and Janet Jackson. He eventually persuaded Jay Z to sign him to his label as a rapper. West is nominated for eight Grammy awards this year.

Adele: Homecoming (1 hr) - Sunday, February 12 at 12:00pm ET / 9:00am PT - After five years since the release of her last album, 10-time Grammy winner Adele is back! Fans have applauded her return by breaking the record for most-viewed video in a single day, reaching an astounding 28.7M views in the first 24 hours. Through her own words, video and live performance this documentary takes an incredible look at the life and times of this truly amazing young artist, who is nominated for five Grammy awards this year.
