BRAVE, THE (NBC) - Matt Corman and Chris Ord have been tapped as co-showrunners of the upcoming drama where they'll serve alongside creator Dean Georgaris. (Deadline.com)
CLEOPATRA (Amazon, New!) - "Black Sails" alums Jonathan E. Steinberg, Robert Levine and Dan Shotz are set to re-team for a potential drama for Amazon Studios described as "a revisionist take on one of history's most misunderstood women, The Godfather in Ancient Egypt. After nearly losing her life in a bloody coup, Cleopatra must use her natural wit and political genius to take back her throne and restore honor to her family and kingdom." Levine will pen the script and executive produce alongside Steinberg and Shotz of Quaker Moving Pictures and Mary Beth Basile of Basile Ring Entertainment. (Deadline.com)

PHILIP K. DICK'S ELECTRIC DREAMS (Amazon) - Mel Rodriguez, Vera Farmiga, Jason Mitchell, Glenn Morshower and Sarah Baker have all been cast in the "Kill All Others" installment of the anthology series, from writer/director Dee Rees. (Deadline.com)
QUEEN SUGAR (OWN) - Sharon Lawrence, Alimi Ballard and Margot Bingham are all bound for the upcoming season as Lorna, "the mother of Charley Bordelon"; Dr. Robert Dubois, "an epidemiologist who works at The Center for American Progress"; and Tamar Judith, "a cool and confident pop singer who crosses paths with Davis," respectively.
