AFTER THE THRONES (HBO) - The pay channel has pulled the plug on the "Game of Thrones" aftershow however executive producer Bill Simmons will reformat the series for his The Ringer platform as "Talk the Thrones," which will stream live on Twitter and Periscope following each episode. (Deadline.com)
AMERICAN WOMAN (Paramount) - Newcomer Sam Morgan has scored an arc on the newcomer as Adam, "a sexy and charming guy who is an up and coming artist. He meets Bonnie (Alicia Silverstone) at a Hollywood party and they have an immediate connection." (Deadline.com)
GOLIATH (Amazon) - Morris Chestnut has signed onto the show's sophomore run as Chief Deputy District Attorney Hakeem Rashad, "who was on the losing side of Billy's (Billy Bob Thornton) last criminal case and has a bitter, old grudge against him. When he learns Billy has taken over the case of a teenager accused of a double murder, he steps in to handle the case personally. He is determined to crush Billy and his defense team, while scoring a big win for the prosecutor's office." (Deadline.com)
GRAVES (Epix) - Matt Long and Lauren Weedman are both bound for the new season as Jesse Enright, "the movie star playing Richard Graves (Nick Nolte) in the biopic of his life" and Bonnie Clegg, "Maggie's (Sela Ward) white trash Texas cousin who comes out of the woodwork to badmouth Margaret to the press," respectively. HAUNTING OF HILL HOUSE, THE (Netflix) - Michiel Huisman is set to star in the streaming service's modern reimagining of Shirley Jackson's classic 1959 novel. He'll play Steven Crane, "the oldest Crane sibling and a published writer of supernatural books - including a memoir about his family's time living at Hill House." (THR.com)
MAJOR CRIMES (TNT) - James Martinez will recur on the upcoming season as Ian Nunez, "the sociopathic father of a potential kidnap victim, a man who started a second family without ever informing them he had a son from another marriage." (Deadline.com)
