HONEY (FX, New!) - Irish filmmaker Gerard Barrett has sold a new drama to the cable channel "set against the backdrop of the world of corporate espionage." No other specifics or auspices were given. (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER TRUE CRIME (NBC) - Sterling Beaumon, Molly Hagan and Dominic Flores have all been cast in "The Menendez Murders." Beaumon will play Glenn Stevens, "a friend of Lyle's from Princeton and a college hockey player, Glenn became Lyle's business partner after the murders, managing the first of a chain of restaurants." Hagan then is set as Joan Vandermolen, "Kitty's older sister, she is a woman of Midwestern reserve"; with Flores as Henry Llano, "a cousin of Lyle and Erik, he is regularly seen interacting with the other family members, but was regarded as a loudmouth by the late Jose Menendez." OLIVE FOREVER (USA, New!) - Writer Brian Duffield and director Matt Shakman are set to team for a new drama at the cable channel about Olive, "a mysterious high school student with an affection for cat burglary-type shenanigans, mostly because she is a cat burglar. New to a sleepy town with a criminal underbelly, Olive must navigate new foster parents, new boyfriends, new gangsters... and new crime opportunities." Universal Cable Productions is behind the project, which has a pilot order. Jurassic Party's Nicki Cortese and AwesomenessTV's Brian Robbins, Matt Kaplan and Brett Bouttier will also executive produce. (Deadline.com)
QUANTICO (ABC) - Pearl Thusi's Dayana Mampasi is the latest to depart the series. (Deadline.com)
SNOWPIERCER (TNT) - Alison Wright and Benjamin Haigh are the latest additions to the drama pilot as Lilah Anderson, who "lives with her husband and daughter in a fourth-class cabin and works in the train's nail salon"; and Fergus McConnell, "who lives in the back of the train amongst poverty [and] helps his mother care for his sick father."
