CORY HARDRICT ENLISTS IN CRACKLE'S NEW ORIGINAL DRAMA "THE OATH", PRODUCED BY CURTIS "50 CENT" JACKSON AND HIS G-UNIT FILM AND TELEVISION, INC.

Hardrict Joins Sean Bean ("Game of Thrones") and Ryan Kwanten ("True Blood") in Gritty 10-Episode Series Created and Written by Former Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputy Joe Halpin

CULVER CITY, Calif. (June 28, 2017) - Crackle, Sony Pictures Television Network's free, ad-supported streaming network, announced today that Cory Hardrict (American Sniper, Gran Torino) has joined the cast of its new original one-hour drama series "The Oath," which is set to debut in 2018. The 10-episode gritty drama series executive produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and his G-Unit Film & Television, Inc., explores a world of gangs made up of those sworn to protect and defend and sheds light on corrupt and secret societies that are nearly impossible to join - only a select few make the cut-but once inside, members will do what they must to protect each other from enemies on the outside and from within their own ranks.

In "The Oath," Hardrict goes behind the badge as Officer Cole Hammond, a cop whose cool and composed demeanor conceals an underlying sense of paranoia. Raised by white foster parents, Hammond is fueled by an intense dedication to protect the only family he has ever had - putting him at odds with the other members of the Ravens gang.

Hardrict joins an ensemble cast including Sean Bean ("Game of Thrones") and Ryan Kwanten ("True Blood"). Bean plays Cole's adoptive father Tom Hammond - the head of the prominent Ravens cop gang and Kwanten, his brother Steve Hammond, who is the reluctant leader of the gang.

Hardrict will soon be seen in the Netflix original film Naked opposite Marlon Wayans, LAbyrinth starring Johnny Depp and Forest Whitaker and the film Destined out this fall in theaters. His other credits include roles in feature films such as Warm Bodies, American Sniper, Lovelace, and Spectral, and television series "Eastbound & Down," "NCIS," "Heroes," "CSI," and "Law & Order," among others.

"The Oath" is executive produced by Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson and his G-Unit Film & Television Inc., Todd Hoffman and Dennis Kim of Storied Media Group, as well as former Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department Deputy Joe Halpin ("Hawaii Five-O," "Secrets And Lies"), who served for over a decade as an undercover cop in South Central and brings an invaluable air of authenticity to the series in his role as series creator, writer, and showrunner. Veteran filmmaker Jeff T. Thomas ("Blindspot," "Wayward Pines") will direct the series' premiere episode.

Hardrict is represented by Agency for the Performing Arts, Authentic Talent & Literary Management and Jackoway Tyerman.
