CONDOR (Audience) - Mouna Traoré and Ellen Wong have both landed roles on the upcoming Max Irons-led original as Iris Lorimer, "the wife of a CIA officer"; and Sarah Tan, "one of Joe's best friends and work confidante." (Deadline.com)
DEEP MAD DARK, THE (TNT) - The cable channel has passed on the drama pilot, an atmospheric mystery-thriller about the complexities of female friendship. (Deadline.com)
FAHRENHEIT 451 (HBO) - Martin Donovan, Andy McQueen and Grace Lynn Kung are all bound for the telefilm as Commissioner Nyari, "a leader in the ministry"; Gustav, "a member of the resistance"; and Chairman Mao, likewise "a member of the resistance." (Deadline.com)
MARVEL'S THE PUNISHER (Netflix) - Shohreh Aghdashloo will recur on the upcoming series as Farah Madani, "the mother of Dinah Madani (Amber Rose Revah), a skilled Homeland Security agent who's vexed by the Punisher, a.k.a. Frank Castle. Farah is an Iranian by birth who has spent most of her life living in the U.S., where she's established a successful practice as a psychiatrist." (EW.com)
PERRY MASON (HBO) - Rolin Jones and Ron Fitzgerald have signed on to shepherd actor/producer Robert Downey, Jr.'s new small screen take on Erle Stanley Gardner's classic character. They succeed Nic Pizzolatto, who will bow out to focus on season three of "True Detective." (Deadline.com)
RESIDENT, THE (FOX) - Melina Kanakaredes has signed onto the midseason drama as Dr. Lane Hunter: "As the top oncologist in the state of Georgia, Lane is brilliant, warm and a strong leader who spends every waking moment tending to her patients. However, as the season unfolds, we discover an unexpected complexity in Lane as surprising twists and turns end up driving a harrowing thriller arc." (Deadline.com)
