HALLMARK CHANNEL ANNOUNCES THE LAUNCH OF "COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS" FANTASY GAME

Viewers Can Play Weekly Throughout the Network's Annual, 24/7 Programming Event

STUDIO CITY, CA - October 19, 2017 - Hallmark Channel will launch its "Countdown to Christmas" Fantasy Game to coincide with the network's annual, 24/7, can't-miss programming event that breaks ratings records every year. Viewers who play the game will have the opportunity to take their enthusiasm for their favorite Hallmark Channel holiday movies and play for the top prize of $20,000.

Each week during "Countdown to Christmas," viewers can pick their team from a list of movies airing during that weekend, or round, with points awarded based on viewership. Odds will be given for each movie, affecting its points value. Bonus points can be earned by answering trivia questions about the Hallmark Channel premiere movies that will be posted at HallmarkChannel.com each Monday and Wednesday. At the end of the play period, the person with the best overall score will receive the $20,000 grand prize. The prize for first place is $5000, second place is $1000, and random giveaway prizes valued at $250 will be awarded weekly.
