IFC ANNOUNCES NEW DIGITAL SERIES AVAILABLE TO WATCH NOW ON ITS COMEDY CRIB

NEW YORK - December 7, 2017- Just in time for holiday binging, IFC announced today that the network has acquired a new digital series, The Place We Live and videos created by Sisters Weekend in addition to launching a new original short film, Celebrity All-Star. All are available to watch now on the Comedy Crib (ifc.com/comedy-crib), the network's online hub for original, short-form comedy. The shows will join the Crib's current array of acclaimed web series including Neurotica, The Mirror, and Frank & Lamar.

The Place We Live was created by Dara Katz and Betsy Kenney and follows the lives of five young adults living together - in the early '90s. Wet, hot... and soggy drama ensues as the five friends deal with tackling adulthood during this nostalgic decade. The Place We Live stars Dara Katz, Betsy Kenney, Jonathan Braylock, Sunita Mani, and Casey Jost.

Sisters Weekend is a Brooklyn-based video group made up of filmmaking best friends Angelo Balassone, Michael Fails and Kat Tedesco. The three co-creators, directors, and producers created a series of one-off, head-scratch funny films, acquired by the Comedy Crib.

Created by Sisters Weekend (Balassone, Fails and Tedesco) in partnership with Above Average, Celebrity All-Star is an original short film created for the Comedy Crib. The film follows an unruly cast of C-List celebrities who are locked out of their hotel rooms.

Since launching over a year ago, the IFC's Comedy Crib has showcased over 25 exclusive digital series, including content from partners Above Average, UCB Comedy and the Annoyance Theatre, as well as original series from both established and up-and-coming comedians. With even more development on the horizon for 2018, the popular IFC.com destination will give visitors an endless variety of off-kilter content to binge and share.
