Travel Channel Greenlights Season Two of "Caribbean Pirate Treasure" with Philippe and Ashlan Cousteau
Tropical locations such as the Bahamas, Cuba and Panama will be showcased in the new season, which begins production later this month.

TRAVEL CHANNEL GREENLIGHTS SOPHOMORE SEASON OF 'CARIBBEAN PIRATE TREASURE' WITH PHILIPPE AND ASHLAN COUSTEAU

NEW YORK (January 5, 2018) -Travel Channel has picked up Season Two of its underwater adventure series, "Caribbean Pirate Treasure," featuring husband and wife duo Philippe and Ashlan Cousteau. Philippe, grandson of legendary explorer Jacques Cousteau, and his journalist wife, Ashlan, dive into seafaring stories of lost loot and pirates' plunder in eight new half-hour episodes. Tropical locations such as the Bahamas, Cuba and Panama will be showcased in the new season, which begins production later this month.

"'Caribbean Pirate Treasure' is full of stunning locations, adventure, mysteries and great storytelling," said Courtney White, senior vice president, programming, Travel Channel, Food Network and Cooking Channel. "When you combine those elements with Philippe and Ashlan's innate curiosity, expertise and chemistry, you deliver a series that easily attracts the audiences that advertisers want."

The new season of "Caribbean Pirate Treasure" is scheduled to premiere later this year.
