AMERICAN GODS/THE X-FILES (Starz/FOX) - Gillian Anderson has announced that she will not be back to either series. Production has yet to begin on season two of "Gods" while "The X-Files" is currently airing its 11th season. (TVLine.com)
CHAMBERS (Netflix, New!) - The streaming service has commissioned 10 episodes of a supernatural drama which "centers on a young heart attack survivor becomes consumed by the mystery surrounding the heart that saved her life. However, the closer she gets to uncovering the truth about her donor's sudden death, the more she starts taking on the characteristics of the deceased - some of which are troublingly sinister." Akela Cooper and Stephen Gaghan will executive produce for Super Deluxe alongside creator Leah Rachel. (Deadline.com)
SEE (Apple, New!) - Writer Steven Knight and director Francis Lawrence are set to team for "an epic, world-building drama set in the future" at the company. No other plot details were given. Chernin Entertainment's Peter Chernin, Jenno Topping and Kristen Campo will also serve as executive producers on the Endeavor Content-based project, which will likely consist of eight episodes. UNTITLED MIGUEL NOLLA PROJECT (ABC, New!) - Miguel Nolla ("Scandal") has scored a put pilot commitment from the Alphabet and ABC Studios for a new drama about Alex Guerra, "a chart-topping, award-winning pop star who has been estranged from her family for five years. She tries to pick up the pieces when a crisis forces her to return home to Texas, juggling a love triangle, the demands of her career, and the dark secrets of the family that she now desperately wants to win back." The project is inspired by the musical legacy of Selena Quintanilla. Sergio Aguero, Jaime Davila and Rico Martinez of Campanario Entertainment are executive producing alongside Scooter Braun, Scott Manson and James Shin of SB Projects. Nolla will serve as a co-executive producer with Selena Quintanilla family members Abraham Quintanilla, Jr. and Suzette Quintanilla Arriaga as producers. (Deadline.com)
WILL & GRACE (NBC) - Jennifer Lopez will pull double duty guest-starring as both herself and her "Shades of Blue" character detective Harlee Santos on an upcoming episode of "Will & Grace."
