BIG LITTLE LIES (HBO) - Denis O'Hare is set to recur on the upcoming season as Ira Farber, a new character. (Deadline.com)
BLOOD & TREASURE (CBS) - Matt Barr is set to star opposite Sofia Pernas in the upcoming drama, about a brilliant antiquities expert and a cunning art thief who team up to catch a ruthless terrorist who funds his attacks through stolen treasure. As they crisscross the globe hunting their target, they unexpectedly find themselves in the center of a 2,000-year-old battle for the cradle of civilization. He'll play said fellow, Danny, "an astute, witty and natural investigator with an unwavering moral compass." (Deadline.com)
DESUS & MERO (Viceland) - Desus Nice and The Kid Mero will reportedly sign off after two seasons on the cable channel next Thursday, June 28. It's understood said duo are "close to a deal at Showtime for a weekly show." (Deadline.com)

NCIS: NEW ORLEANS (CBS) - CBS Television Studios has hired "an outside investigator to look into allegations of harassment and misconduct" against former showrunner Brad Kern. The studio previously signed Kern to a new two-year overall deal at the time of his departure. (THR.com)
OPPOSITION WITH JORDAN KLEPPER, THE (Comedy Central) - The cable channel is wrapping the series after 10 months on the air, with the final episode set for Thursday, June 28. It's understood host Jordan Klepper is expected to transition to a weekly half-hour series, tentatively titled "Klepper," featuring "the comedian out in the field, traveling the country and speaking to people." Pre-production is "slated to begin in the fall and a premiere eyed for early 2019 in the 10 PM-11 PM time period." "That added into the accelerated pace of the decision but it was mostly driven by excitement about the new show," Comedy Central president Kent Alterman said. "We can't do both obviously so we are winding down 'The Opposition' in accordance with gearing up 'Klepper.'" (Deadline.com)
SUPERGIRL (The CW) - Jesse Rath's Brainiac 5 is set to become a series regular next season while Jeremy Jordan's Winn Schott will only return on a recurring basis. (TVLine.com)
TALKING WITH CHRIS HARDWICK (AMC) - Host Chris Hardwick has released a statement denying claims by former girlfriend Chloe Dykstra that he sexually assaulted her while they were involved. UNTITLED OPRAH WINFREY PROJECT (Apple, New!) - Oprah Winfrey who has entered into a multi-year content partnership with the company to create original programs for its upcoming streaming service "that embrace her incomparable ability to connect with audiences around the world." The pact falls outside of her deal with OWN: The Oprah Winfrey Network, which is for ad-supported cable only. (Deadline.com)
