9-1-1 (FOX) - Charisma Carpenter will guest on the season premiere as "a 9-1-1 caller who has found herself stuck between a rock and a hard place, and in the most crazy of ways." (TVLine.com)
AMERICAN HORROR STORY (FX) - Jeffrey Bowyer-Chapman and Kyle Allen will both guest on the franchise's eighth installment. No details were given about their roles. (Deadline.com)
BETTER CALL SAUL (AMC) - Co-creator Vince Gilligan has signed a new three-year overall deal with producer Sony Pictures Television. (Deadline.com)
CHICAGO PD (NBC) - Anne Heche has been tapped for an arc on the new season as Dep. Superintendent Katherine Brennan, "who is smart, to the point and political, but often self-serving. A cunning and formidable opponent, she always keeps her wits about her." (Deadline.com)
ERASE (USA) - Christine Evangelista has been cast in the Denis Leary/Callie Thorne-led drama pilot as Noreen Rodriguez, "Donal and Donna's eldest child. She is a smart and ethical cop who inherited a moral compass from her mother and wants nothing to do with her father." (Deadline.com)
FRESH OFF THE BOAT (ABC) - Freeform and UPtv have both acquired the show's cable syndication rights from Twentieth Television. Said repeat runs will kick off later this year. (Deadline.com)

RESIDENT, THE (FOX) - Jenna Dewan has snagged a recurring role on the show's sophomore run as Julian Lynn: "Sharp and sophisticated, Julian is a medical device rep with an ability to connect with just about anybody. Her warmth, beauty and charisma make her highly effective at a job she loves. A former dancer, Julian got her life back with the help of a device. WALKING DEAD, THE (AMC) - Tony-nominated actress Lauren Ridloff has been tapped for a role on the upcoming season as Connie, the series' first deaf character. Ridloff, who is deaf herself, "will appear in multiple episodes and she communicates via American Sign Language." (Deadline.com)
