ARROWVERSE SERIES (The CW) - "Supergirl" alum Elizabeth Tulloch will reprise her role as Lois Lane in the upcoming "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover. (EW.com)
LORD OF THE RINGS, THE (Amazon) - Australian actress Markella Kavenagh is the first to be cast in the much-ballyhooed TV series. No other details were given. (Deadline.com)
REPRISAL (Hulu) - Lea DeLaria is the latest set to recur on the upcoming femme fatale thriller series as Queenie: "The crowned matriarch of The Banished Brawlers, Queenie has played an integral part in the rise of the Bang-A-Rang, the chaotic burlesque club the gang is known for. In charge of the money and the shows, Queenie's tenure has accrued her a plethora of secrets. And when Doris makes her return as Katherine Harlow, many of those secrets will threaten to be unearthed." (Deadline.com)
SEAL TEAM (CBS) - Jamie McShane and Rudy Dobrev have been cast in the show's third season. The former will play Captain Lindell, "a hard charging leader who's dedicated to bringing a new generation of operational adaptability to the Navy's Tier One Command, and feels no allegiance to how things have been done in the past." And Dobrev will portray Filip, "a tough, capable field agent for Serbia's SIA. Having lived through multiple horrific wars in his homeland, Filip is a world-weary man who is dedicated to preventing the eruption of war again." (Deadline.com)
SKINNY DIP (Quibi, New!) - Keshet Studios is taking another stab at bringing Carl Hiaasen's novel to the small screen, billed as "a darkly comedic odyssey of revenge." Russel Friend and Garrett Lerner, who spearheaded The CW pilot in 2018, are back for the new take, as are fellow executive producers Peter Traugott, Rachel Kaplan, Alon Shtruzman and Avi Nir. SUPERNATURAL (The CW) - Jake Abel will reprise his role as Dean and Sam's half-brother, Adam, sometime during the show's final season. (TVLine.com, 7/21)
