ALIEN TV (Netflix, New!) - eOne and POP Family Entertainment's 26-part CGI animated series has found a global on the streaming service. "Aimed at kids aged 6-11, Alien TV follows the misadventures of an extra-terrestrial television news crew as they learn about life on planet Earth." No other auspices were given for the project, due this summer. (Deadline.com)
ASTRONOMY CLUB: THE SKETCH SHOW (Netflix) - The streaming service has quietly canceled the series after one season. (@ClubAstronomy)
BATWOMAN (The CW) - The network reportedly plans to create a brand new character to don Batwoman's cape rather than recast Ruby Rose's Kate Kane. Said development stems from a casting notice which "refers to the newbie superhero as Ryan Wilder, a woman in her mid-20s who is about to become Batwoman." (TVLine.com)
DC'S LEGENDS OF TOMORROW (The CW) - Co-star Maisie Richardson-Sellers has confirmed her departure from the series following tonight's finale. The actress had been a regular since the show's second season. (TLine.com)
LAW & ORDER ELLIOT STABLER PROJECT (NBC) - Dick Wolf has terminated writer/producer Craig Gore from the upcoming spin-off series following his social media posts in which he brandished "a rifle in front of his home with a caption, "curfew", after threatening to "light motherf***ers up who try to f*** w/my property" in reference to looting nearby." "I will not tolerate this conduct, especially during our hour of national grief," Wolf said in a statement. Gore was also dropped by his agency Paradigm. (Deadline.com)
