Fresh off of having Netflix's #1 comedy special of 2020, Kevin Hart, the multi-hyphenate actor, producer, writer and comedian, and his HartBeat Production banner have a new creative home for films at Netflix.

Netflix will be the exclusive home for four feature films starring and produced by comedic rockstar Kevin Hart, whose movies have grossed more than $4 billion at the global box office.

Under the multi-year agreement, Hart will also have a first look film deal for his HartBeat Productions banner

Hart is slated to star in and executive produce the recently-announced Netflix scripted limited series True Story, produced by HartBeat Productions and Eric Newman (Narcos and Narcos: Mexico), marking Hart's first dramatic series debut.

Hart's latest stand-up special Zero F*cks Given was the #1 Netflix comedy special of 2020. More than 21 million accounts chose to watch in the first four weeks after it premiered.

Hart was also featured in the 2019 biographical docuseries Kevin Hart: Don't F*ck This Up.

HartBeat's first film was 2018's Night School which opened No. 1 at the domestic box office and made over $100 million worldwide

Emmy nominated producer, Kevin Hart was born and raised in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania where he launched his career as a comedian during an amateur night at a local comedy club. Over the years Hart has become Hollywood's box office powerhouse, opening ten films at number one at the box office with $4.23 Billion revenue at the global box office.
