TALES OF DUNK AND EGG (HBO, New!) - The pay channel is reportedly developing another "Game of Thrones" prequel, this time based on George R.R. Martin's fantasy novellas. The potential series would "follow the adventures of Ser Duncan the Tall (Dunk) and a young Aegon V Targaryen (Egg) 90 years prior to the events of "A Song of Ice and Fire."" No writer is currently attached. (Variety.com)
URI AND ELLA (HBO Max, New!) - The streamer has landed the U.S. rights to Yoav Gross Productions' 11-episode Israeli series, billed as "an unconventional romantic comedy-drama about loss, madness, rich-people problems and the one form of love that is truly unconditional - the love between a father and his daughter." Shlomo Baraba (Uri) and Dina Senderson (Ella) play the title roles in the project, which also stars Pablo Rosenberg (Zuki), Liron Vaisman (Kineret), Gal Toren (Shmulik) and Abigail Kovari (Zohar). Senderson also created the series, due this spring, alongside Ofer Seker and Yuval Shafferman, who directed all 11 episodes. (Deadline.com)
YEAR OF THE RABBIT (IFC) - Channel 4 has rescinded its commitment to a second season of the series "after the coronavirus pandemic forced the British broadcaster into £150M ($205M) of content cuts." Producer Objective Media Group is "on the hunt for a new partner for the comedy." (Deadline.com)
YOUNG LORDS, THE (Apple TV+, New!) - Jaquén Castellanos is developing a limited series at the streaming service about the civil rights organization. Plan B and Carmelo Anthony are also among the executive producers. No other specifics were given.
