MEREDITH CORPORATION'S PEOPLE AND THE CW NETWORK TEAM UP FOR TWO ROYAL PRIMETIME SPECIALS

"PEOPLE PRESENTS: HARRY & MEGHAN'S AMERICAN DREAM" AND "PEOPLE PRESENTS: WILLIAM & KATE'S ROYAL ANNIVERSARY" TO PREMIERE THIS SPRING ON THE CW NETWORK

January 26, 2021 (Burbank, CA) - The CW and Meredith Corporation have teamed up again to broadcast two new one-hour specials centering on the Royal family. PEOPLE PRESENTS: HARRY & MEGHAN'S AMERICAN DREAM features the story of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first year in America following their shocking split from the Royal family. The CW will air the special on Tuesday, March 30 (9:00-10:00pm ET/PT). PEOPLE PRESENTS: WILLIAM & KATE'S ROYAL ANNIVERSARY is a celebration of the Cambridges' 10-year wedding anniversary and will air Thursday, April 29 (8:00-9:00pm ET/PT).

PEOPLE PRESENTS: HARRY & MEGHAN'S AMERICAN DREAM follows the lives of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle who stunned the world by existing royal life. One year later, they are very much living the American dream with multimillion-dollar streaming deals and a California mansion to call home with two-year old Archie. But a personal tragedy and ongoing tensions with brother Prince William and Kate have at times clouded their first year of freedom. This one-hour special will trace Harry and Meghan's journey from royalty to celebrity.

PEOPLE PRESENTS: WILLIAM & KATE'S ROYAL ANNIVERSARY is a celebration of the Cambridges' 10-year wedding anniversary. From college sweethearts to tying the knot in the wedding of the century, Prince William and Kate Middleton are celebrating 10 years of marriage. The Royal couple are now a party of five and redefining the royal parenting playbook while at the same time cementing themselves as the future of the monarchy. Get the inside scoop from PEOPLE on all things William and Kate as we toast the couple who will one day be crowned King and Queen.

These documentary specials are an informative and entertaining chronological re-telling of the "fab four" that will feature archival footage with animation, graphics, fun explainer pods, and expert commentary from PEOPLE's Royals team. The TV specials are the latest in a partnership between PEOPLE and The CW Network that began last year with the broadcast of the two-hour documentary, "PEOPLE Presents Harry & Meghan: A Royal Rebellion."

PEOPLE PRESENTS: HARRY & MEGHAN'S AMERICAN DREAM and PEOPLE PRESENTS: WILLIAM & KATE'S ROYAL ANNIVERSARY are co-productions between Meredith Corporation, Green Couch Entertainment and Rapture Productions. Executive producers for Meredith Corporation are Dan Wakeford, Cynthia Sanz and Rachel Feinberg; Green Couch Entertainment executive producers are Paul Reaney and Scott Weiner; and executive producer for Rapture Productions is Jennifer Ducker.
