GOOD SAM (CBS) - Edwin Hodge is officially on board the Sophia Bush-led drama pilot as Malcolm A. Kingsley: "Malcolm's family is the hospital's wealthiest donor. But despite this, Malcolm works for a living as an administrative executive at the hospital, where he and Sam (Bush) bond over the struggle to step out of their fathers' shadows." The actor was previously extended back in June. (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER: ORGANIZED CRIME (NBC) - Tamara Taylor is set to join Christopher Meloni and Dylan McDermott in the much-ballyhooed spin-off series. No details about her character were given. (Deadline.com)
LINCOLN LAWYER, THE (Netflix) - Becki Newton is the latest addition to the upcoming drama while Jazz Raycole and Angus Sampson, who were attached to the previous CBS incarnation, have been picked up for the Netflix version. Newton will play Lorna, "Mickey's (Manuel Garcia-Rulfo) second ex-wife and a constant confidante who works as his office manager, running the business side of Mickey's practice." Raycole plays Izzy, "Mickey's client, a young former addict charged with grand larceny for stealing a necklace to support her habit"; and Sampson is Cisco, "a former biker gang member who now serves as Mickey's investigator, friend, and when necessary, bodyguard." Kiele Sanchez and Logan Marshall-Green were cast as Lorna and Mickey, respectively, in the CBS version. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED MICHAEL IMPERIOLI PROJECT (HBO, New!) - Michael Imperioli and Alec Berg are set to team for a new project at the pay channel described as "a meta blend of fact and fiction loosely based on Imperioli's experiences as a practicing Buddhist." Imperioli is also attached to star in the effort with Amy Solomon likewise executive producing. (Variety.com)
WHO KILLED TULUM? (Amazon, New!) - Mehar Sethi is developing a new drama at Amazon Studios about "a spoiled Mexican party-boy and a high-strung American woman who each seek a new life in the burgeoning resort town of Tulum circa 2007, a paradoxical paradise where extravagance has an ethos and glamour has a dark side." The project is based on Reeves Wiedeman's New York Magazine article of the same name with Scoop Wasserstein and Annapurna Television's Megan Ellison and Sue Naegle also executive producing. Wiedeman will serve as a co-executive producer alongside Chad Mumm of Vox Media Studios. (Deadline.com)
