Netflix lifts the blues with Taiwanese series, More Than Blue
Netflix, the world's leading streaming entertainment service, will stream Taiwanese drama series, More Than Blue 《比悲傷更悲傷的故事》.
The series is directed by Director Pei-Ju Hsieh 謝沛如, who previously directed Heavy Craving《大餓》, and produced by Good Movie Co. Ltd, mm2 Entertainment Taiwan and Medialink Holdings Ltd. Rita Chuang 莊淳淳, General Manager and Producer of Good Movie Co. Ltd, was the original producer of the More than Blue movie.
The 10-episode romantic series tells the story of star-crossed lovers, Chang Che-Kai (Fandy Fan 范少勳) and Sung Yuan-Yuan (Gingle Wang 王淨) in their student days and is a follow-on from the story of the 2018 box-office-breaking Taiwanese film of the same name. The 2018 film was an adaptation of a 2009 Korean romantic movie.
The series will also star Po-Chieh Wang 王柏傑, Ivy Shao 邵雨薇, Eleven Yao 姚以緹 , Figaro Tseng 曾少宗, Phoebe Yuan 袁艾菲, Ma Nien-Hsien 馬念先, Tsai Jia-yin 蔡嘉茵and Runyin Bai 白潤音.
