Disney Television Studios landed seven new network series and returned 17. DTS produced the No. 1 scripted series on three of the four broadcast networks as well as three of the Top 5 scripted series in L7 and four of the season's Top 10 broadcast entertainment programs. And in L35, DTS produces nine of the Top 20 scripted programs on broadcast, which is more than any of the other major studios. The studios also produced two series tied for the No. 1 broadcast series on the air in "This Is Us" and "Grey's Anatomy," as well as the incomparable "The Simpsons" which holds the record for the longest-running series in television history and just received a pickup for two more seasons.

Disney Television Studios' new series include "The Wonder Years," a comedy inspired by the beloved award-winning series of the same name from Saladin Patterson, Lee Daniels and original series star Fred Savage, starring Don Cheadle as the voice of Adult Dean Williams; "Queens," a hip-hop-themed drama from Zahir McGhee that stars Eve, Naturi Naughton, Nadine Velazquez and Brandy as four women in their 40s who reunite as their '90s group the Nasty Bitches for a chance to recapture their fame; "Our Kind of People," from Karin Gist and Lee Daniels, inspired by Lawrence Otis Graham's bestseller about the rich and powerful Black elite of Martha's Vineyard, starring Yaya DaCosta and Morris Chestnut; "The Big Leap," a modern tale about second chances, chasing your dreams and taking back what's yours from Liz Heldens, Jason Winer and Sue Naegle, and starring Scott Foley; "Ordinary Joe," a drama which explores the three parallel lives of the show's main character after he makes a pivotal choice at a crossroads in his life, from Matt Reeves, Russel Friend and Garrett Lerner and starring James Wolk, Natalie Martinez, Charlie Barnett and Elizabeth Lail; "Abbott Elementary," a workplace comedy (co-produced with Warner Bros. TV) set in a Philadelphia public school from Quinta Brunson who also stars; and "Maggie," a comedy about a young woman trying to cope with life as a psychic, from Maggie Mull and Justin Adler, and starring Rebecca Rittenhouse in the title role.

This upcoming season will mark the final seasons for DTS' iconic series "This Is Us" and "black-ish," and the return of freshman hits "Big Sky" and "Home Economics," as well as long-running successes "Grey's Anatomy," "9-1-1," "9-1-1: Lonestar," "A Million Little Things," "The Resident," "The Good Doctor," "The Rookie" and "Station 19."

DTS' animation production continues to dominate with recently announced two season renewals for "The Simpsons" (renewed for seasons 33 and 34, taking the ultimate total episode count to 757), "Family Guy" and "Bob's Burgers." "American Dad!" continues its run as TBS' No. 1 series and Fox's newest hit "The Great North" just earned a third season renewal. Additional animated series include Fox's "Duncanville," Hulu's "Solar Opposites" and the upcoming "Koala Man," Apple TV+'s "Central Park" and HBO Max's upcoming "The Prince."

And on the awards front, this year the studio's content received over 260 award nominations including 47 Emmy(R) nods, 25 NAACP nominations and four Critics' Choice nominations.
