ECHO 3 (Apple TV+) - Michiel Huisman will star alongside Luke Evans in the action-thriller drama series as Prince, "a member of the "Echo 3" team and Amber's husband." (Deadline.com)
GARBAGE PAIL KIDS (HBO Max, New!) - Danny McBride, David Gordon Green and Josh Bycel are set to team for an animated series at the streamer based on Topps' 1980s trading cards, "a parody of the Cabbage Patch Kids line of dolls - featured gross-out humor and a subversive attitude and became a pop culture phenomenon." Rough House Pictures' Brandon James and Tornante TV's Noel Bright and Steven A. Cohen will also executive produce. No plot specifics were given. (THR.com)
JUST BEYOND (Disney+) - Christine Ko, Malcolm Barrett, Sally Pressman, Cedric Joe, Riki Lindhome, Tim Heidecker, Gabriel Bateman, Cyrus Arnold, Arjun Athalye, Jack Gore, Logan Gray, Elisha Henig, Rachel Marsh, Jy Prishkulnik, Megan Stott, Henry Thomas and Izabela Vidovic have all booked yet-to-be-revealed roles on the supernatural anthology series. UNTITLED LAKERS PROJECT (HBO) - The ever-expanding ensemble of the pay channel's 1980s Los Angeles Lakers has cast Rory Cochrane as Jerry Tarkanian, "the blustery, colorful, infamous coach of the UNLV Runnin' Rebels"; Danny Burstein as Vic Weiss, "the manager and childhood best friend of Jerry Tarkanian"; Austin Aaron as Mark Landsberger, "a hulking, lovable oaf"; Ta'Nika Gibson as Debbie Allen, "a bright young star reaching new heights in her career"; Edwin Hodge as Ron Boone, "a tough, crafty NBA veteran"; Terence Davis as Adrian Dantley, "a stylish NBA All-Star destined for the Hall of Fame"; and Ja'Quan Cole as Ron Carter, "a hard-working NBA veteran."
