COLIN IN BLACK & WHITE/WHEN THEY SEE US (Netflix) - Emmy-nominee Michael Starrbury has signed a multi-year overall deal with the streamer where he'll develop new series projects on an exclusive basis. (Deadline.com)
FBI: INTERNATIONAL (CBS) - Luke Kleintank, Heida Reed and Vinessa Vidotto are the first to be cast in the latest spin-off series. Kleintank will play "the Head of the International FBI Fly Team unit"; with Reed plays as "his second-in-command"; and Vidotto as "a green but eager and ambitions member of the team." The series is slated to be shot in Budapest, Hungary. (Deadline.com)
GARCIAS, THE (HBO Max) - The streamer's "The Brothers Garcia" reboot series has cast Oliver Alexander as Max Garcia; Nitzia Chama as Ana Garcia; Maeve Garay as Victoria Garcia; Elsha Kim as Yunjin Huh Garcia; Ayva Severy as Andrea Huh Garcia; and Trinity Jo-Li Bliss as Alexa Huh Garcia. They join Ada Maris (Sonia Garcia), Carlos Lacamara (Ray Garcia), Alvin Alvarez (Larry Garcia), Jeffrey Licon (Carlos Garcia), Bobby Gonzalez (George Garcia) and Vaneza Pitynski (Lorena Garcia) as previously announced. Production is underway in Texas and Mexico. (Deadline.com)
MOONHAVEN (AMC) - Dominic Monaghan is the first to be cast in the sci-fi drama as Paul Serno, "a detective on the Moon in a utopian community tasked with solving the problems of Earth." (Deadline.com)
NCIS: HAWAI'I (CBS) - Alex Tarrant has joined the cast of the Vanessa Lachey-led spin-off series while Enver Gjokaj is slated for a recurring role. Tarrant will play Kai, "a new addition to Tennant's team who boasts the special ability to blend into the island while investigating high-stakes crimes. Kai recently returned home to care for his ailing father and to reconcile with his complicated past. A far cry from his carefree years catching waves and serenading a wahine with his 'uke, but that's all in a day's work for an agent of his caliber." Gjokaj then is Joe Milius, "a high-ranking Navy Captain and commander of Pacific Fleet who is protecting the honor of a dead officer who was piloting a top-secret experimental aircraft that crashed into a cliff. Milius, who maintains the collision was an accident, clashes with Tennant as she takes control of the investigation though he can't help but respect her ability as a leader." (Deadline.com)
OFFER, THE (Paramount+) - The ever-expanding cast of the streamer's behind-the-scenes of the making of "The Godfather" has added Burn Gorman as Charles Bluhdorn, "the volatile head of Gulf & Western"; Justin Chambers as Marlon Brando, "the legendary Oscar winner and greatest actor of his generation"; Patrick Gallo as Mario Puzo, "author of The Godfather and Oscar winning co-writer of the films"; Josh Zuckerman as Peter Bart, "the legendary Hollywood executive and journalist"; Meredith Garretson as Ali MacGraw, "the famous actress at the beginning of her career"; Nora Arnezeder as Francoise Glazer, "owner of the Chateau Marmont and wife of Al Ruddy"; Paul McCrane as Jack Ballard, "head of physical production for Paramount Pictures"; Anthony Skordi as Carlo Gambino, "the infamous mafioso and head of the five crime families"; Jake Cannavale as Caesar, "loyal Colombo family soldier"; James Madio as Gino, "soldier in the Colombo crime family"; Michael Rispoli as Tommy Lucchese, "head of one of the five mafia crime families"; Stephanie Koenig as Andrea Eastman, "head of casting for Paramount Pictures"; Lou Ferrigno as Lenny Montana, "the former wrestler and mob enforcer who played Luca Brasi in The Godfather"; Frank John Hughes as Frank Sinatra, "the iconic singer with connections in high places"; and Danny Nucci as Mario Biaggi, "an influential politician with his sights set on The Godfather." (Variety.com)
WOKE (Hulu) - Marquita Goings and Miguel Pinzon have landed recurring roles on the new season as Hype, "a friend of Ayana (Sasheer Zamata) and new love interest for Clovis (T. Murph)"; and Tommy, "a blunt and inscrutable un-housed artist with a sharp wit who challenges Keef (Lamorne Morris) and his view of activism," respectively. (Deadline.com)
