BACHELORETTE, THE (ABC) - Current season co-hosts Tayshia Adams and Kaitlyn Bristowe will return in said roles for the show's 18th season, due on October 19. (Deadline.com)
DAYS OF ABANDONMENT, THE (HBO) - The pay channel has opted not to proceed with the original movie based on the novel by Elena Ferrante. "Due to unforeseen personal reasons, Natalie Portman has stepped down from HBO Films' Days of Abandonment prior to the start of filming. Unfortunately, the production will not move forward," the network said in a statement. "We are very sorry we won't be able to bring this beautiful story to the screen with our talented writer-director and cast. We send our sincere thanks to our cast, producers, and crew for all their passion and hard work." Rafe Spall and Mary-Louise Parker were also attached to star. (THR.com)
DAYS OF OUR LIVES: BEYOND SALEM (Peacock) - Eileen Davidson is the latest alumnus set to return for the limited series. It's not clear however which character she will play. (Deadline.com)
MASKED SINGER, THE (FOX) - Los Angeles County has revealed the series "has recorded 12 positive tests during its production at Red Studios in Hollywood." Production has not been impacted as "the cases mostly have been related to community exposure rather than at the workplace." (Deadline.com)
NEW AMSTERDAM (NBC) - Michelle Forbes will recur on the upcoming fourth season as Veronica Fuentes, "a calm, poised and fearless fixer who is brought in to 'reconstruct' the failing hospital." (TVLine.com)
OLGA DIES DREAMING (Hulu) - Aubrey Plaza has booked the title role on the drama pilot, Olga Acevedo, "a renowned wedding planner whose surface successes mask a darker interior. For Olga, the pursuit of perfection has become a compulsive survival mechanism as she tries to climb as far from her past as she can. Still, she can't shake the feeling that the important people she knows don't see her as their equals and this nagging sense that her success is an illusion always leaves her wanting more."
