DISCOVERY+ SERIES "RENO MY RENTAL" STARS "DESIGN STAR: NEXT GEN" WINNER CARMEON HAMILTON WHOSE VIBRANT VISION HELPS MEMPHIS RENTERS OWN THEIR SPACE

New Series Available to Stream Beginning Saturday, Sept. 18

(New York, N.Y.) - Reigning Design Star: Next Gen champion, interior designer and social media influencer Carmeon Hamilton will star in the highly anticipated discovery+ series, Reno My Rental. The six-episode series, set in Carmeon's hometown of Memphis, Tennessee, will be available to stream Saturday, Sept.18. In each episode, she'll help renters make their place feel like home by transforming the spaces with personalized improvements that don't compromise the structure of the property. In addition, Carmeon will use products and services of local design vendors and artisans to create the breathtaking, unique designs.

"My mission is to help renters in my hometown of Memphis make big changes without breaking the bank or tearing down walls," said Carmeon. "I've got the hacks, the tricks and the creative solutions to prove that you don't have to own a house to make it feel like home."

Throughout the series, Carmeon will give renters a major style upgrade that will turn their bland backdrops into unforgettable homes. Using the skills and signature design aesthetic that made her a major social media influencer, she will maximize, personalize and elevate client rentals into extraordinary places with striking custom pieces made from everyday items, wow-factor wall treatments and a plethora of plants and greenery. In the series premiere, Carmeon will delight her client by incorporating bold pops of color and new furniture pieces to create an inspiring living area where the singer-songwriter can make music, and she'll tap a Memphis artist to create a one-of-a-kind wall mural in the bedroom.

"One of my goals as a designer, especially working with renters, is to introduce them to all of the creative resources that are right in their backyard," said Carmeon. "Any way that I can incorporate the work of local vendors and artisans into my designs, I do."

Along with the discovery+ streaming premiere, the first episode of Reno My Rental will be available as a special preview on HGTV on Saturday, Sept. 18, at 11 p.m. ET/PT. Fans can catch up on Carmeon's journey in Design Star: Next Gen when the series airs on HGTV beginning Saturday, Aug. 28, at 9 p.m. ET/PT. The full season also is available to stream on discovery+.

Additional Reno My Rental content will be available across the discovery+ digital platforms at discoveryplus.com and via @discoveryplus and #RenoMyRental on Instagram, Facebook, Twitter and TikTok. Fans also can follow @CarmeonHamilton on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.
