New York, NY - August 25, 2021- Today, Comedy Central announced Ilana Glazer Presents Comedy on Earth an original, one-hour special featuring a series of sets performed by various comedians, curated by director-producer-writer-comedian Ilana Glazer (False Positive, Broad City). The comedy showcase captures New York City "in the darkest of times" from 2020-2021 through the lens of stand-up comics including Petey DeAbreu, Alison Leiby, Larry Owens, and Sydnee Washington. In April of this year, Comedy Central launched a digital stand-up series Ilana Glazer Presents Tight Five on Comedy Central's Stand-up YouTube Channel. The nine-episode series also featured stand-up sets curated by Ilana Glazer. Some comedians spotlighted on Ilana Glazer Presents Tight Five will reappear in the upcoming one-hour special Ilana Glazer Presents Comedy on Earth.
Ilana Glazer Presents Comedy on Earth is produced by Glazer's production company, Starrpix.
