JIMMY FALLON DRAWS ON THE HOLIDAY SPIRIT WITH DEBUT OF THE ANIMATED SPECIAL "5 MORE SLEEPS 'TIL CHRISTMAS" BASED ON HIS BESTSELLING CHILDREN'S BOOK

Special Airs Friday, Nov. 26 at 8:30 P.M. ET/PT as Part of NBC's Holiday Animation Night

BREAKING HOLIDAY NEWS: There are only 18 sleeps until the premiere of "5 More Sleeps 'til Christmas," the new animated family special inspired by Jimmy Fallon's New York Times #1 bestselling book of the same name.

Narrated by Fallon, the colorful special focuses on a boy who has his meticulous, detailed plan leading up to Christmas upended upon the arrival of some unexpected guests at the home he shares with his mother and dog, Gary. From finding the best tree, to perfecting his snow sled, to making scrumptious Christmas cookies, everything goes topsy-turvy as Christmas morning draws near. But, despite all the changes, the true spirit of Christmas manages to shine through in this 30-minute special for the whole family.

From Fallon's production company, Electric Hot Dog, the special is executive produced by Jim Juvonen and Kelly Powers, and Alex Bulkley and Corey Campodonico of ShadowMachine. Borja Pena Gorostegui is director and Jon Foster and James Lamont serve as writers. Along with Fallon as narrator, the show is brought to life by the voices of James Larson, Esme Jan, Kari Wahlgren and Affion Crockett.
