First Project Under Pact is an Original Henry Danger Live-Action Movie for Paramount+ to Begin Production This Year

HOLLYWOOD, Calif. - Jan. 13, 2022 - Nickelodeon, the number-one kids' network, and AwesomenessTV, the Gen Z studio from ViacomCBS, today announced it has signed an overall deal with actor and executive producer Jace Norman (Henry Danger). Nickelodeon will work with Norman and his production company, Starlight, to develop, executive produce and star in new and original content for ViacomCBS companies, including Nickelodeon Studios, Awesomeness Studios, Paramount+ and other ViacomCBS platforms.

As part of the partnership, Norman will reprise his role as "Henry Hart/Kid Danger" in a new, original live-action movie for Paramount+, based off Nickelodeon's hit series Henry Danger. Start of production and cast will be announced shortly.

Norman starred as superhero sidekick "Henry Hart/Kid Danger" in Henry Danger, Nickelodeon's longest running live-action sitcom, which aired from 2014-2020 across five seasons and 128 episodes. In its final season, the series was the number-one show for kids 6-11 on all TV.

During his time starring in Henry Danger, Norman also starred in numerous Nickelodeon projects, including the hour-long Henry Danger The Musical special, which scored the biggest L3 lift in Nickelodeon series history with 2.2 million views across all three days; the feature-length TV movies Splitting Adam, Rufus, Rufus 2, Blurt and Bixler High Private High, which he also executive produced; and as an animated "Henry Hart/Kid Danger" in Nickelodeon's animated Henry Danger spinoff series, The Adventures of Kid Danger.

Norman currently serves as a producer on the live-action Henry Danger spinoff series Danger Force which was the number-one live-action show on cable for the year with K6-11 in 2021. Danger Force is in its second season and airs on Thursdays at 7 p.m. (ET/PT) on Nickelodeon.
