The parents who have left their day jobs to join their exceptionally talented dance kids range from a preschool teacher, a doctor and a social worker to an engineer and the drummer of famous rock band Limp Bizkit.

From a Preschool Teacher to a Drummer of a Famous Rock Band, Parents Leave Their Day Jobs to Strut Their Stuff with Some of the Country's Best Young Dancers - Their Kids

New Family Dance Competition Series with Host Philip Lawrence and Judges Jenna Dewan, Dexter Mayfield and Tricia Miranda Premieres Friday, April 15 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on CBS

COME DANCE WITH ME, the new family dance competition series, announced today the 12 teams competing during its first season, which premieres Friday, April 15 (8:00-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network and will be available to stream live and on demand on Paramount+*. The parents who have left their day jobs to join their exceptionally talented dance kids range from a preschool teacher, a doctor and a social worker to an engineer and the drummer of famous rock band Limp Bizkit.

The dance duos will work to master challenging routines with the help of world-renowned choreographers who have collaborated with Bruno Mars, Pitbull, Justin Bieber, Beyoncé, Nicki Minaj, Taylor Swift, Jennifer Lopez, Paul McCartney, Ariana Grande, Lil Nas X, BTS and many more.

The following teams are competing for the $100,000 grand prize on COME DANCE WITH ME:

GRAMMY(R) Award-winning songwriter Philip Lawrence hosts the series with a trio of judges: dancer and actress Jenna Dewan, professional celebrity dancer Dexter Mayfield and renowned hip hop choreographer Tricia Miranda.

Throughout the season, the teams will learn different dance routines, from hip hop and ballroom to contemporary and theatrical, among others, and will tackle a fierce new performance each week in hopes of earning top scores from the judges and continuing in the competition. At the end of every episode, the two lowest-scoring teams will battle each other in a freestyle dance-off, as the judges determine which team will be eliminated and which will advance.

COME DANCE WITH ME is from creators and executive producers Chris O'Donnell, LL COOL J (stars of CBS' NCIS: LOS ANGELES) and 3 Ball Productions, part of 3BMG, in association with CBS Studios. Executive producers for 3 Ball are Reinout Oerlemans, Ross Weintraub and Jeff Altrock. Jeff Thacker, Nick Florez and RJ Durell also are executive producers.
