UPtv SETS PREMIERE DATES FOR THREE UPCOMING SCRIPTED SERIES

HEARTLAND SEASON 15 WILL DEBUT ON THE NETWORK MAY 19 WITH MYSTIC AND THE WEDDING PLANNERS LAUNCHING IN JUNE

NEW MOVIES WILL CONTINUE TO PREMIERE EVERY SUNDAY NIGHT

ATLANTA - April 21, 2022 - UPtv, the television destination for uplifting entertainment, announced three upcoming scripted series to the network's programming slate. In addition to debuting a premiere movie every Sunday night as part of the "Love Sundays" programming destination, UPtv will premiere the new season of fan-favorite series Heartland on Thursday, May 19 at 8 p.m. ET (10 episodes) followed by the U.S. debut of Mystic on Thursday, June 2 at 9 p.m. ET (13 episodes) and miniseries The Wedding Planners on Friday, June 3 at 8 p.m. ET (8 episodes). The Wedding Planners will be part of the network's month-long June Grooms programming stunt.

Heartland, the 5th most streamed series in 2021 according to a recent Nielsen report*, is set in the rolling foothills of the Rockies in the fictional town of Hudson, Alberta. While some journeys end, others are just beginning. The Bartlett-Fleming family has learned a hard lesson: life is short, and you have to live each day to the fullest. In Season 15, they will put what they learned into practice. Last season, Amy said goodbye to the past. This season, she embraces the future - raising her daughter and working with the horses who continue to heal her while branching out into a new phase of her life and profession. She is moving forward and feels determined to leave a legacy. In fact, Jack, Lisa, Lou and Tim have all decided that now is not the time to pull back, but to ramp up, to create new dreams and fulfill old ones. And, as they always do, the family will pull together to help each other... and will ultimately end up stronger than ever. Set on the fictional peninsula of Kauri Point, New Zealand, Mystic tells the story of Issie Brown and her new-found friendships with the town's teen horse riders, and their efforts to save Kauri Point from an industrial development that threatens it. Originally launched internationally in 2020, Mystic stars Macey Chipping, Laura Patch, Cathy Downes, Kirk Torrance, Antonia Robinson and Max Crean.

The Wedding Planners revolves around Paige, James and Hannah Clarkson when they inherit their mother's wedding business and quickly become passionate about the most important day of a couple's life... planning beautiful, one-of-a-kind weddings. The Wedding Planners is a Canadian series starring Kimberly-Sue Murray, Madeline Leon and Michael Seater.

Sunday, May 1 at 7 p.m. ET - Aloha with Love

Gemma, a big city architect, flies to the Hawaii to handle the estate of her late aunt. At her aunt's request, she must first renovate the house. Ben, a handsome country-boy contractor, helps her revive the home and in the process revitalizes Gemma.

Sunday, May 8 at 7 p.m. ET - Yellowstone Romance

As maid of honor, Olivia plans her best friend's bridal shower at a ranch where handsome rancher Travis shows her that life, and love, could be great on a ranch.

Sunday, May 15 at 7 p.m. ET - The Nature of Romance

Travel writer Jackie Sinclair goes luxury "glamping" with her best friend Annette. When she arrives at the nature reserve, she bumps into devilishly handsome park ranger Sean, who offers to be Jackie's guide in the hope she will write an article in one of her glossy magazines. It's a bumpy ride at first, but as the pair embark on their adventure, sparks soon fly... could this be love?

Sunday, May 22 at 7 p.m. ET - Harmony in Paradise

Amelia, a respected wildlife journalist, is tasked with covering baby manatees in Puerto Rico about to be released into the wild, when she meets a handsome conservationist who helps her discover all the treasures the island has to offer.

Sunday, May 29 at 7 p.m. ET - Love Under the Lemon Tree

After being laid off from her job, budding photographer Beck realizes her dreams and enters a lucrative destination photography contest, heading off to the island of Serenity where her photography bug first. Staying at the Lemon Tree Farm, Beck is determined to help the handsome owner save his picturesque farm with the power of social media.

Sunday, June 5 at 7 p.m. ET - Our Dream Wedding

Commitment-shy Haley is as anti-marriage as it gets, but when she tries on her grandma's 'magical' wedding veil, she's transported to her future, where she and long-term boyfriend Scott are happily married with two beautiful children. Shocked, Haley tracks down her family to make sense of her vision and her view on love is changed for good.

Sunday, June 12 at 7 p.m. ET - The Engagement Backup

When historian Luna is entrusted with the legacy of her late father's nautical museum, she pretends that she's engaged to Jackson, the infamous son of a tech mogul, in order to save it. Sunday, June 19 at 7 p.m. ET - A Romance Wedding

Sunday, June 26 at 7 p.m. ET - Planning on Forever

Emma, an events planner with no time for love, agrees to plan her sister's wedding - in just six weeks - with the help of Liam, who Emma had a disastrous blind date with years ago.

The My UPtv Movies app is available for viewers to download and is especially popular around the holidays to track movie viewing.
