AFTERPARTY, THE (Apple TV+) - Will Greenberg and John Gemberling will both recur on the new season as Judson and Jaxon, respectively. No other specifics were released. (Deadline.com)

DOCTOR WHO (BBC America) - Neil Patrick Harris has joined the cast of the series, currently filming scenes set to air in 2023 as part of the show's 60th anniversary. Showrunner Russell T Davies said, "It's my huge honour to open our studio doors for the mighty Neil Patrick Harris... but who, why, what is he playing? You'll just have to wait. But I promise you, the stuff we're shooting now is off the scale. Doctor beware!" (DoctorWho.TV)
JUMP START (CBS) - Robb Armstrong's long-running comic strip is once again being developed for television, this time at CBS. The multi-camera comedy is "set in Philadelphia and follows Joe, a cop; his wife Marcy, a nurse; and Joe's partner, Crunchy. Joe and Marcy are young, hip, urban parents with old-school values who are willing to sacrifice for their kids and have some laughs while doing it." Wayne Conley is behind the project with Aaron Kaplan and Melanie Frankel of Kapital Entertainment and Bridget McMeel of Andrews McMeel Entertainment also executive producing for CBS Studios. Armstrong co-executive produces. FOX previously mounted an single-camera version in 2014 with Armstrong co-writing alongside Andrew Orenstein. (Deadline.com)
LAW & ORDER (NBC) - Mehcad Brooks has been cast as a detective on the upcoming 22nd season of the series, a network spokesperson has confirmed. No details about his character were given.
MRS. AMERICAN PIE (Apple TV+) - The Kristen Wiig-led comedy series has tapped the following actors to recur: Jordan Bridges as Perry Donahue, "an entrepreneur and old schoolmate of Douglas'" (Josh Lucas)"; Kaia Gerber as Mitzi, "a local manicurist"; Jason Canela as Eddie, "a tennis pro at the Palm Beach high society club"; Mindy Cohn as Ann, "an editor for the society column"; and Claudia Ferri as Raquel, "a Cuban ex-pat and member of the Palm Beach high society club." NEW YORK TIMES PRESENTS, THE (FX) - Former showrunner Mary Robertson has signed an overall deal with Sony Pictures Television. The pact marks the launch of Robertson's new production company Maxine. (THR.com)
P-VALLEY (Starz) - Megan Thee Stallion, after lending her voice to Sunday's episode, will make her on camera debut later this season as Tina Snow. Additionally, she wrote and recorded an original song for the new season to be featured in a later episode. (@PValleySTARZ)
