CANTON, Ohio - August 4, 2022 - Matthew Berry, the celebrated fantasy football commentator and industry pioneer, has agreed to a multi-year deal to join NBC Sports as an analyst to provide his unique expertise across Peacock, NBC and NBC Sports digital platforms, it was announced today.

Berry will join Football Night in America, the most-watched studio show in sports, preceding primetime television's No. 1 show Sunday Night Football each week during the NFL season on NBC and Peacock. He will also appear on Sunday Night Football Final, Peacock's exclusive NFL post-game show.

As fantasy football enters a critical stretch with training camps open, preseason games beginning and drafts upcoming, Berry will make his debut on tonight's Football Night in America special at 7 p.m. ET on NBC and Peacock, leading into the 2022 Hall of Fame Game. Berry will join the rest of the FNIA team on-site in Canton, Ohio.

Berry will bring his football expertise to viewers throughout the NFL season with a weekly game-day fantasy football and sports betting show every Sunday from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. ET on Peacock and NBC Sports digital platforms.

On weekdays throughout the NFL season, Berry will create a daily show on Peacock, discussing notable fantasy football and sports betting topics. The one-hour show will also be available live via NBC Sports Audio on SiriusXM Radio and as an NBC Sports Audio podcast across all major podcast platforms. While at ESPN, Berry's Fantasy Focus was the industry's #1 multi-platform fantasy football show. Additionally, Berry will create content for the NFL on NBC's YouTube page and NBC Sports Digital.

"We welcome Matthew to the team and are excited to incorporate into our coverage the compelling and industry-shaping commentary that has made him the face of fantasy football for millions of fans," said Sam Flood, NBC Sports Production Executive Producer & President.

"This is truly a full circle moment for me," said Berry, who served as a fantasy football expert at NBC Sports' Rotoworld from 1999-2004. "I started my career at Rotoworld, spent many years there, and not many people are lucky enough to get the chance to come home. I've spent my entire life talking fantasy football to anyone that would listen. So when I was offered the chance to join the highest-rated studio show in all of sports, I couldn't say yes fast enough. Please remind me of this quote the next time I realize millions of people just saw me get a prediction wrong. In the meantime, know that I am incredibly honored and humbled by the opportunity not just to join the FNIA family but also to help build something special on Peacock."

Berry's popular Love/Hate article, weekly fantasy football rankings, and additional articles will be hosted across NBC Sports digital properties. Berry's first columns and videos for NBC Sports are available now on NBCSports.com and Rotoworld on NBCSportsEdge.com:
