Paramount Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studios announce inaugural Paramount Music Showcase slated for Fall 2022

The first-of-its-kind showcase will shine a light on talented emerging music artists from underrepresented backgrounds

NEW YORK, NY (August 17, 2022) - Paramount Media Networks and MTV Entertainment Studios today announced the first-of-its-kind Paramount Music Showcase, slated to take place this Fall 2022 in New York City. Curated by the Paramount Music, Creative and Production teams in partnership with Paramount's Office of Global Inclusion, the showcase will shine a bright light on talented, untapped, emerging music artists from underrepresented communities. This invaluable experience will give three exceptional artists the opportunity to perform their craft at the highest possible level for various influential figures in the music and media business.

Once the three finalists are selected, they will each be assigned a mentor who will help develop their act for the showcase over the course of four weeks. Mentors will meet weekly with their mentees to offer coaching as well as advice on songwriting, production and developing their live acts for the showcase. Submissions for participants are now open HERE.
