BASED ON A TRUE STORY (Peacock) - Natalia Dyer, Alex Alomar Akpobome, Aisha Alfa, Annabelle Dexter-Jones and Li Jun Li have all joined the comedic thriller series. No details about their roles were given. They'll join previously announced cast members Kaley Cuoco, Chris Messina, Tom Bateman, Liana Liberato, and Priscilla Quintana. (Variety.com)
HUNTERS (Amazon) - The show's upcoming second season - due on January 13 - have been confirmed as its last. (Deadline.com)
RESIDENT ALIEN (Syfy) - The show's third season order has been cut from 12 episodes to eight. (Deadline.com)
UNTITLED GRINGO HUNTERS PROJECT (Netflix, New!) - Imagine Television and The Washington Post are set to team for a new drama based on Kevin Sieff's story which "profiles an elite Mexican police unit of men and women who pursue fugitives - the majority of whom are Americans - on the run coming into Mexico. Since its formation in 2002, they have apprehended over 1,600 fugitives - ranging from murderers on the FBI's "Ten Most Wanted" list to billionaires accused of securities fraud." Brian Grazer, Ron Howard, Kristen Zolner, Tony Hernandez and Lilly Burns are among the executive producers with Sieff consulting. No writer was indicated. (Deadline.com)
