LOS ANGELES and NEW YORK - December 7, 2022 - Latino-owned multi-platform entertainment company Fuse Media today announced that Fuse and its Fuse+ streaming service will host the U.S. television premiere of the feature film "Coast" on Tuesday, January 10.

Desperate to escape her predominantly agricultural town where young thrill-seekers clash with generations of tradition, restless music-lover Abby (Fatima Ptacek, Dora the Explorer) falls for Dave (Kane Ritchotte), the lead singer of a touring rock band. Now, she must decide whether she'll stay or leave her family and friends behind.

Supported by a killer soundtrack and breakout performances, "Coast" is about finding your truth and letting the music take you home. Academy Award winner Melissa Leo, Ciara Bravo (Big Time Rush), Mia Rose Frampton (Make It or Break It), Mia Xitlali (Max) and Cristela Alonzo (Cristela) also star in the film. "Coast" was directed by Jessica Hester and Derek Schweickat and was written by Cindy Kitagawa based on her own childhood experiences.

"The inclusion of Coast into the award-winning Fuse Films franchise was a natural fit once we saw the genuine emotion and honest depiction of life these young, multicultural, and multifaceted characters bring to the screen," said Fuse Media SVP, Head of Content and Marketing, Marc Leonard. "The heartfelt performances and universal themes of the film blend perfectly with Fuse's mission is to bring voice to a new generation of talent, both onscreen and behind the camera."
