TORONTO - March 13, 2023 - Prime Video today announced the green light of two new seasons of the hit series, LOL: Qui Rira Le Dernier?, with stand-up comedian, actor, writer, director, and producer Patrick Huard (Bon Cop Bad Cop, Starbuck) returning as host for both seasons of the Canadian Amazon Original series. "That takes me back to when I was a teenager, to that adrenaline high of getting folks to laugh with the sole purpose of having fun! For weeks, people everywhere have been talking to me about it... laughing. And that really makes me happy," said Patrick Huard, host, LOL: Qui Rira Le Dernier?. "Those are the reasons it wasn't hard to persuade me to host seasons 2 and 3. Not to mention the pleasure of finding ideas to torture participants even more!"

"As we launch more content for our French language customers, we are delighted to see LOL: Qui Rira Le Dernier? connect and become a smash-hit for Prime Video in Quebec," said Magda Grace, head of Prime Video, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. "Having Patrick return to host two more seasons is a game-changer and we are excited to keep Quebec audiences laughing."

The Amazon Original series uses dozens of cameras to catch all of the hilarious action during the unpredictable six-hour competition, and follow a select group of established comedy stars and up-and-coming talent who bring various styles to the table, including stand-up, character, improvisational, and physical comedy.
