BLING EMPIRE/BLING EMPIRE: NEW YORK (Netflix) - The streaming service has pulled the plug on both installments of its "Bling Empire" franchise. (Deadline.com)
BLOODY LUCKY DAY, A/QUEEN WOO (Paramount+, New!) - The streamer has greenlighted two new Korean TV series. Lee Sung-min, Yoo Yeon-seok and Lee Jung-eun will star in "A Bloody Lucky Day," which "follows an ordinary taxi driver who becomes entangled with a customer that turns out to be a serial killer." Directed by Pil Gam-Sung and written by Kim Min-sung and Song Hanna, the series is produced by Studio Dragon, The Great Show and Studio N. And Jun Jong-seo will topline "Queen Woo," which "sees a fierce battle break out following the death of the Goguryeo region's ninth King. The rivalry includes efforts to marry one of the King's brothers and Woo Hee becomes the first woman in Korean history to become queen two times." The series is directed by Jung Se-kyo from a script by Lee Byoung-hak. (Variety.com)
DEAR EDWARD (Apple TV+) - The streamer has axed the freshman drama, based on the novel of the same name from Ann Napolitano. (Deadline.com)
SOUTH PARK (Comedy Central) - Paramount Global has filed a $50 million-plus countersuit against Warner Bros. Discovery over "unpaid license fees, totaling more than $52 million to date, based upon WarnerMedia's blatant breaches of the Term Sheet." (Deadline.com)
TWILIGHT (New!) - Stephenie Meyer's best-selling book series is being eyed for the television treatment by Lionsgate Television. Sinead Daly is attached to pen the project. Wyck Godfrey and Erik Feig are also among the executive producers. (THR.com)
UNTITLED WILL FERRELL PROJECT (New!) - Will Ferrell is attached to star in a proposed comedy set to make the rounds about "a professional golfer who becomes the face of a controversial new league competing with the PGA." Ferrell, Jessica Elbaum, Rian Johnson, Ram Bergman and Nena Rodrigue are among the featured auspices for Gloria Sanchez Productions and T-Street Productions. (Deadline.com)
WHITE LOTUS, THE (HBO) - Natasha Rothwell will reprise her role of spa manager Belinda Lindsey for the show's third installment. (Variety.com)
