In the late hours of the night, police officers often encounter strange human behavior. Comprised entirely of firsthand footage pulled directly from body cameras and CCTV (closed-circuit television) footage, the six-part series, LATE NIGHT LOCKUP, will take viewers along for a wild ride to witness all the commotion that transpires during graveyard shifts. From drunken disorderly conduct to shocking acts of aggression, witness the peculiar and outrageous happenings that law enforcement encounters as nighttime creeps into the early hours of the morning.

In New Mexico, a young man tries everything he can to keep from being arrested, but his hilarious misunderstanding of officers suggest he's had a few beers too many. Another DUI suspect tries to prove his sobriety by performing a backflip for amused officers. Then an officer finds himself in hand-to-hand combat with an irate citizen, who steals his gun and escapes the station, leading police on a high-speed chase. Back in New Mexico, an entitled young woman is pulled over after an officer spots her driving erratically. Denying she's been drinking, she belligerently condescends to her arresting officer, leading her to spend a well-deserved night in the slammer.

In Livonia, Michigan, a car is stopped at a green light, and the woman behind the wheel is fast asleep. Boxing the car in before she causes an accident, they wake her up to discover that she's drunk after attending bingo. In Statesboro, Georgia, police track a shoplifting suspect to his house. When they confront him with video evidence, he tries to make a run for it. In Athens, Georgia, officers arrest the driver of a red truck after it recklessly speeds away. He demands to be taken to the hospital, where he begins acting bizarrely.

The key to solving the toughest murders lies somewhere in the final 24 hours of a victim's life. Determined investigators must piece together events to reconstruct the timeline, unlock the motive, and ultimately close in on the killer.

Bookkeeper Barbara Iske fails to arrive on time at the Michigan home of her wealthy client. Five hours later, she's found executed in the driveway of that same client. Ultimately, police reveal that Barbara's the victim of a dark family conflict.

Every day, countless minors are exploited, groomed and abused in person and online. Enter Roo Powell and her team at the nonprofit SOSA (Safe from Online Sex Abuse), who work in tandem with law enforcement to apprehend child predators by becoming the targets. As the team deploys three new underage decoys and launches the fictitious online accounts for a 15, 14 and even a 12-year-old persona, it's a race against the clock to identify the ACMs (adults contacting minors) and build a case against the alleged predators to enable law enforcement to make an arrest before the perpetrators can victimize other children.

A man with an extremely dark past and sinister intentions hides in the shadows just beyond the team's reach. Roo feels sympathetic toward a young man reaching out to Mackenzie.

The team pours all of its resources into identifying "The Bodybuilder," an ACM who reaches out to all three of SOSA's underage decoys. Meanwhile, a man in a strange location contacts Abby.

Police race through the night, pursuing an armed car thief with an unexpected outcome. When an Officer comes to the aid of a suspect's dogs, his act of kindness gets shot down in a hail of bullets, and a couple's beef turns an officer's day on its head.

In Wisconsin, officers cautiously approach a dangerous driver's wrecked car. Refusing to exit the vehicle, the driver suddenly opens fire on them. In Washington State, a community rallies to protect two officers shot in the line of duty.

Police must now follow a trail of disturbing CCTV footage and DNA evidence to track down their callous killer and uncover an extraordinary and unexpected crime spree.

In 2018, 33-year-old restaurant worker Joshua Webb is brutally shot dead outside an apartment block in Beckley, West Virginia.
