Prime Video Greenlights "The Money Game"

The docuseries, from Campfire Studios, Axios Entertainment, and Shaquille O'Neal's Jersey Legends, will examine the impact of the recent landmark decision to alter the NCAA's policy on name, image, and likeness (NIL) rights

NEW YORK - January 25, 2023 - Today, Prime Video greenlit The Money Game, a docuseries from Campfire Studios, Axios Entertainment, and Shaquille O'Neal's Jersey Legends, a division of Authentic Studios. The documentary will premiere exclusively on Prime Video in more than 240 countries and territories worldwide. The Money Game is the latest addition to the Prime membership. Amidst one of the most tumultuous and nail-biting years of college athletics to date, The Money Game is an exclusive, all-access pass to the 2023-24 athletic season inside LSU Athletics. The docuseries follows, in real time, a historic turning point in the NCAA upon policy changes on name, image, and likeness (NIL) rights - guaranteed to shape the trajectory of college sports forever - highlighted by the surreal experiences of LSU's top players, coaches, and administrators. LSU, the flagship university of the state of Louisiana, is one of the most iconic brands in college athletics. LSU boasts an SEC-best 51 team national championships and is currently home to three of the top-10 collegiate earners in NIL.

With its subjects touting a collective 20 million-plus social media followers, The Money Game follows the world's most sought-after collegiate athletes: LSU gymnast and social media sensation Olivia Dunne; 2023 Women's Basketball Final Four Most Outstanding Player, the "Bayou Barbie," Angel Reese; SEC Women's Basketball Freshman of the Year and Roc Nation-signed Flau'jae Johnson; and LSU Tigers quarterback, Heisman winner, and future NFL draft pick Jayden Daniels, amongst others.
