Black·ish is an acclaimed American sitcom created by Kenya Barris that aired on ABC from September 24, 2014, to April 19, 2022. Spanning eight seasons with a total of 176 episodes, the series quickly became a cultural touchstone in American television. black·ish centers on the Johnson family, an affluent Black household led by patriarch Andre "Dre" Johnson (Anthony Anderson), a successful advertising executive, and his wife Rainbow (Tracee Ellis Ross), an accomplished anesthesiologist.
