STARZ TO ADAPT MIRANDA JULY'S "ALL FOURS"

BESTSELLING LITERARY SENSATION LANDS ON PREMIUM PLATFORM DEDICATED TO PROVOCATIVE STORYTELLING

Santa Monica, Calif. - February 13, 2025 - STARZ announced today that it has acquired the rights to "All Fours," Miranda July's propulsive, sexy and irreverent novel about a woman at a turning point in her life who embarks on a journey of self-discovery and sexual awakening. Featured prominently on many critics' best-of-year lists, the book has captivated readers around the world, sparking a cultural dialogue around female desire, aging and unconventional relationships.

"I'm thrilled that 'All Fours' has found a home at STARZ," said July. "I had an electric feeling from the moment we met; it was clear we were speaking the same language. Rather than shying away from all the messy contradictions within sexuality and desire, STARZ really digs into the reality of who women are and what we want, which makes it the perfect place to bring my novel to life. This is going to be wild."

"We are honored that Miranda has entrusted us with the adaptation of her magnificent novel 'All Fours,'" said Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming at STARZ. "As we continue to expand our boundary-pushing programming for adults, we're excited to work with Miranda on this extraordinary story that resonates with women around the world."

"A giddy, bold, mind-blowing tour de force by one of our most important literary writers" (George Saunders), Miranda July's "All Fours" has been dubbed "A frank and delirious ode to love in all its forms" by Vogue and "the talk of every group text" by the New York Times. The book was an instant New York Times bestseller and has been on the Indie Bestseller List for 38 weeks and counting. A National Book Award Finalist and a New York Times Top Ten Books of the Year for 2024, "All Fours" was named a Best Book of 2024 by every major publication, including the New Yorker, Time, The Washington Post, PBS, Oprah Daily, Vogue, Vulture, and many others. A global phenomenon, the book was a Sunday Times Bestseller in the UK, and has sold in 25 territories to date.

Creative Artists Agency (CAA) brokered the deal with STARZ on behalf of July. July is managed by Ilene Feldman Management and represented by Sarah Chalfant at The Wylie Agency for publishing.
