Max Renews THE PITT, Starring Noah Wyle, For A Second Season

New Episodes Of The Medical Drama From John Wells Productions And Warner Bros. Television, Created By R. Scott Gemmill, Debut Thursdays On Max

· The critically acclaimed Max Original medical drama THE PITT, from John Wells Productions and Warner Bros. Television, created by R. Scott Gemmill and starring Noah Wyle, has been renewed for a second season. New episodes of the 15-episode first season debut on Thursdays at 9:00 p.m. ET leading up to the season finale on April 10.

· Since its debut, the new Max Original has landed and stayed as the streamer's most-watched title globally, while earning positive reviews from critics, including a 93% critics' score on Rotten Tomatoes. THE PITT has been celebrated as an "engrossing and addictive medical drama," by Entertainment Weekly, with Noah Wyle being praised as "an endlessly compelling lead" by Vanity Fair. TV Insider called THE PITT "riveting" and Chicago Tribune dubbed it "essential viewing." The Hollywood Reporter highlighted that the show's "real-time format is excellently applied in creating the immediacy and... the simultaneity of a busy trauma center."

· Season 1 logline: THE PITT is a realistic examination of the challenges facing healthcare workers in today's America as seen through the lens of the frontline heroes working in a modern-day hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Each episode follows an hour of Dr. Robby's (Wyle) 15-hour shift as the chief attendant in Pittsburgh Trauma Medical Hospital's emergency room.
