· "The Americas," a stunning 10-part event series narrated by Tom Hanks highlighting the world's great supercontinent, will debut with two back-to-back episodes on Sunday, Feb. 23 at 7 p.m. ET/PT on NBC. The first hour will simulcast on sister networks Bravo, CNBC, E!, SYFY and USA. Episodes will stream next day on Peacock.  

· "The Making of 'The Americas,'" is a one-episode special showcasing a behind-the-scenes look at "The Americas," featuring Tom Hanks and the crew revealing perils and breakthroughs behind the lens of this milestone nature series. The special exploring the dedication, fieldcraft, humor, heart and innovation that came together to create one of the most ambitious wildlife series ever produced will stream exclusively on Peacock, Monday, April 21.

· Volkswagen of America is the official automotive sponsor of the upcoming nature documentary series.

Tom Hanks and the crew will reveal perils and breakthroughs behind the lens of this milestone nature series - trekking through corrosive waters 14,000 feet up in the Andes to film flamingos, weathering Amazonian lightning storms, forging bonds between a wild puma and its longtime cameraman and pioneering cinematography to be captured on the backs of whales.
