NEW YORK - July 29, 2025 - The AMC+ Original crime thriller, Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story, is set to premiere with two episodes in the US on Thursday, August 28, with additional episodes dropping weekly on Thursdays, exclusively on AMC+. Written and executive produced by Georgia Lester (Killing Eve), the ripped from the headlines 6-part series is a dramatization of British model Chloe Ayling's (Nadia Parkes, The Bastard Son & The Devil Himself), kidnapping in Milan, Italy, while also exploring the aftermath in which Ayling is accused of faking her own abduction as a publicity stunt.
In Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story, British model Chloe Ayling (Parkes) thinks she's landed a dream photo shoot in Milan, Italy. But the dream quickly turns into a nightmare when she's drugged and kidnapped by a man who claims to work for a shadowy crime syndicate. With her life on the line, Chloe miraculously manages to escape. But she is met with suspicion upon her return home, becoming the target of a relentless media storm accusing her of faking her own kidnapping for fame.
Additionally, a 3-part Sundance Now Original true crime docu-series about the ordeal, Chloe Ayling: My Unbelievable Kidnapping, will premiere with all episodes on Thursday, September 25, exclusively on Sundance Now and AMC+. In the docu-series, Ayling gives her first documentary interview since her abductors' conviction, revisiting the story of her time in captivity and tries to come to terms with what took place, the media reaction and why many people refused to believe her.
Kidnapped: The Chloe Ayling Story, an AMC+ Original series, is written and executive produced by Georgia Lester. It's directed and executive produced by Al Mackay. Priscilla Parish, Michael Parke, Lucy Richer, and Andrew Morrissey serve as executive producers. The series is a River Pictures, part of BBC Studios, production, with BBC Studios handling global sales.
