Rodrigo de la Serna Will Play Aníbal Gordon in a New Netflix Series
Directed by Pablo Trapero and Pablo Fendrick, the Argentine production will be based on the novel "Gordon" and will take place during the violent decade of the 1970s in the country.
Netflix announced today a new series made in Argentina starring Rodrigo de la Serna based on the story of Aníbal Gordon, produced by Adrián Suar and Diego Andrasnik (Preludio), and Pablo Trapero as showrunner.
The thriller, inspired by real events, tells the story of Aníbal Gordon, a criminal who went from committing robberies to actively participating in the violent years of Argentina in the 1970s and his relationships with the different gangs of that era.
The series also features performances by Matías Recalt, Camila Peralta, and a special appearance by Matías Mayer, alongside a large supporting cast.
It will be directed by Trapero and Pablo Fendrick, and written by Marcos Osorio Vidal and Pablo Trapero, with script collaboration from Marcelo Larraquy, author of the original novel "Gordon." The series has already begun filming in Buenos Aires and will continue in Río Negro.
