Special Show Moments Announced for the "77th Emmy Awards," Sept. 14 on CBS

SPECIAL SHOW MOMENTS ANNOUNCED FOR THE "77TH EMMY(R) AWARDS," SEPT. 14 ON CBS

Brad Garrett, Young Mazino, S. Epatha Merkerson, Hunter Schafer, Ray Romano and Ice T Added to Present

CBS and the Television Academy announced today the special segments and performances for the 77TH EMMY(R) AWARDS, broadcasting live to both coasts from the Peacock Theater, Sunday, Sept. 14, (8:00-11:00 PM, LIVE ET/5:00-8:00 PM, LIVE PT) on the CBS Television Network, and streaming on Paramount+.*

· Hosting this year's ceremony, GRAMMY(R)-nominated comedian Nate Bargatze appeared at the red carpet rollout alongside executive producers Jesse Collins and Jeannae Rouzan-Clay, as well as Television Academy chair Cris Abrego. The event featured CBS' iconic Comfy Blue Sofa, setting the stage for television's most anticipated night of celebration.

· The special show moments celebrating the anniversaries of some famous past and present television shows with re-creations of their iconic sets include:
· GILMORE GIRLS: 25th Anniversary set reveal with Alexis Bledel and Lauren Graham
· SURVIVOR: Jeff Probst 50th season moment
· GOLDEN GIRLS: Reba McEntire, Karen Fairchild and Kimberly Schlapman will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the show by singing the show's theme song on a re-creation of its iconic kitchen set.

· The broadcast will also honor additional milestones and feature an in memoriam performance:
· LAW AND ORDER 35th anniversary with key cast members Mariska Hargitay, Tony Goldwyn and Christopher Meloni joined by others from the many L&O franchises.
· GREY'S ANATOMY 20th anniversary with Eric Dane and Jesse Williams.
· IN MEMORIAM segment featuring a performance by GRAMMY Award-winning performer Lainey Wilson and Vince Gill of Gill's "Go Rest High on That Mountain."

· Additional presenters include:

· Emmy Award-winning producers Jesse Collins and Dionne Harmon, and Emmy-nominated Jeannae Rouzan-Clay of Jesse Collins Entertainment return as executive producers of the 77TH EMMY AWARDS. This marks their third consecutive year as executive producers of television's biggest night.

· The 77TH EMMY AWARDS telecast was preceded by the Creative Arts Emmy Awards, with ceremonies produced by the Television Academy on Saturday, Sept. 6 and Sunday, Sept. 7; an edited presentation of the ceremonies will air Saturday, Sept. 13 at 8:00 PM, ET/PT on FXX. *Paramount+ Premium plan subscribers will have access to stream live via the live feed of their local CBS affiliate on the service, as well as on demand. Paramount+ Essential subscribers will not have the option to stream live but will have access to on-demand the day after the special airs.
